Here, we understand that just because something “should” be a certain way, does not make it so. We know the world—the military included—can be full of empty promises and disappointments. Our benefits, our entitlements, and our financial futures are no exception.
We believe there are two ways to respond to these disappointing experiences: we can either fold into ourselves like an dying star, absorbing all light and hope in our vicinity OR we can brush ourselves off (after we’ve cried a little) and embark on a mission to share our story so others may be wiser for it.
